Once upon a time…
A writer named Clare and an artist named Moana wanted a place to create marvellous things. They both shared a passion for books, art and writing but neither had a space to call her own.
They talked it over with a friend called Sophie who made fabulous things with fabric, felt and buttons (and whose typewriter collection was something to be admired)
Then one day Clare’s brother offered them space in a shop at 118 Commercial St, Merbein and The Ink Table was born.

We're starting to really get settled in the studio. The counter is in and looking beautiful now that we've begun using it. We've also stared to make marvellous things in the space.
The feeling in the shop is beautiful.
